If you are surfing the first time on River Rhine it´s crucial to get information from the locel´s! Be careful with boat´s. There allways have the right of way. 200 to 300 meters distance to cross there line is necessary. ........ ........ Be careful with tugboat´s. There is a 200 meter steel cable between the tugboat´s and the boat´s. The stell cable is in your head level. You can´t see the steel cable from the bank. .................. Be careful with buoy´s and landing stage´s. The dangerous current will push you down. Your material (e.g. rigg) will be crack like a match. ........... ...................... Be careful with shoal. You can´t stand in shoal and the ground is cliffy. The dangerous current will push you down in 40 cm deep water. Don't surf if there is prohibited! Look for the sign!!
